Mimaki will show a variety of digital print and cut solutions for label and packaging

At the event, the company will be using its UJF-7151plus to demonstrate direct printing on rigid substrates to create high-quality nameplates suitable for industrial marking or placarding.

Mimaki has announced that it will be bringing a variety of innovative digital print-and-cut solutions for short-run and customised labels and packaging to Labelexpo Europe 2017.

UK: the book printer Bell & Bain adopts a Ricoh Pro VC60000

The Pro VC60000 can produce more than 6,000 copies of a 128 page book in an eight hour shift. It reduces make ready time and speeds up turnaround, maximises operational efficiency and allows greater control of costs.

Bell & Bain will be the first European book printer to elevate its digital book printing service with the Ricoh Pro VC60000 continuous feed production inkjet platform.

In order to obtain this certification, the independent environmental institute EPEA assessed the ink manufacturing process with regard to its eco-management relating to responsible handling of energy and water resources, and hubergroup’s corporate social responsibility.

Bobst celebrates 75 years of passion for folding-gluing

One of the very first such machines, a PCR382, was set up in 1942 at the Zeiler company near Bern, Switzerland.

In 2017, it will be seventy-five years since Bobst started designing and producing folder-gluer machines for the packaging industry.
