Kuwait: Al-Resala Printing Press chose a KBA Rapida 105

The new product, a five-colour model with coater and extended delivery, entered production at the beginning of the year.

Al-Resala Printing Press chose a KBA Rapida 105 with the aim to grow. It was back in 1968 that Jassim Mubarak Al-Jassim founded the company Al-Resala Printing Press in Kuwait.

Triangl produced over 172 million printed sheets on its Heidelberg Speedmaster

The Czech printer of magazines will install a further Speedmaster CX 102 with Prinect Inpress Control 2 and another Speedmaster XL 106 eight-color press will be installed once the new production hall is complete.

From start of 2015 to spring 2017 Triangl, Czech printer of magazines based in Prague, produced over 172 million printed sheets on its Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106-8 P.

Rheinisch-Bergische Druckerei invests in a further varnishing unit for the KBA Cortina

In coldset printing, the in-line finishing of the printed products with an integrated varnishing unit for water-based varnish and an IR dryer is a unique feature of the KBA Cortina, which produces without any damping units.

Rheinisch-Bergische Druckerei GmbH (RBD), media company of Düsseldorf , has invested in a further varnishing unit for its KBA Cortina press in order to double its finishing capacity from August 2017 onwards.

Germany: DS Smith chooses KBA large format again for its new facility in Erlensee

A new Rapida 145 has already been taken into service, and further large-format Rapidas were relocated to Erlensee from the old print centre in Hanau.

KBA has already been supplying sheetfed offset technology to the Hanau facility of international packaging group DS Smith for several decades.
